Hi, I’m Laura..
My husband and I have been married for 12 years. When he proposed to me, I had our wedding planned in one week, yes, one week. We got engaged over Christmas break my senior year of college and I wanted to have all of the planning done and vendors decided before I started my last semester of school. My love of planning started early on in my childhood and has stayed with me. I love planning family events, birthday parties for our daughters and celebrating anything in our lives! I handle stress with ease and can problem solve almost anything.
I’ve been building my business for 12 years. I know how to keep the bride calm, get the groom excited about pictures, make sure the bridesmaids are on time and keep the groomsmen in line all while creating the most amazing images from your special day.
Engagement Session
Once you choose me as your photographer, we’ll meet up for your engagement session. Engagement sessions are included in my wedding package. We’ll enjoy an evening creating some amazing images that you can use for your Save the Date cards, social media posts, and wedding website. I always include engagement sessions in my packages so we can get to know one another and we’ll be ready for your big day. I want you to trust me, and know that I’m here to do whatever is best for you.
Engagement sessions last 1 to 1.5 hours and can take place at 2-3 locations. You are welcome to change your outfits as time allows. After your session you’ll receive your online gallery for you to view and download your high resolution images. With these images you are free to have them printed and post to social media.
P.S. I also can assist you in outfit planning. ;)
Wedding Day
First, I’ll arrive when you’re getting ready. These moments are so special to remember. From the gifts you give your friends, to the laughs you share to calm your nerves. These details often go unnoticed, but are in fact some of my favorite images from the day.
Next, if you choose we’ll do your “first look” where you and your fiancé will join me in a private location to see each other for the first time that day. We’ll then move on to bridal portraits, wedding party, and family. Don’t want to do a first look? No problem, we’ll get these pictures taken after your ceremony.
I always suggest my couples plan in some downtime to refresh and relax before the ceremony. During that time, I will work to get detail images of decor at the venue.
Wedding time! I’ll work my way around the ceremony to get images of the crowd, the decor, and of course you and your fiancé.
Reception - time to relax! I’ll stay close by to capture the speeches and your first dances. After those are over, my time with you will be done. I know we just had the best day ever, and you’ll need to celebrate it!

Mileage of .50 per mile after 50 miles outside of Sioux City.
